FDA Portrait
Our association, which represents the interests of tradeshow architects and designers was established in the summer of 2001 under the name Forum Design und Architektur (FDA). Members develop architectural and design concepts with a focus on three-dimensional communications aiming at the spatial implementation of corporate and product messages – at tradeshows, exhibits and events, as well as product and service presentations.
The FDA’s key objective is to communicate the entire service spectrum of tradeshow architects and designers, of design functionality and architecture that optimizes the success of tradeshow participation and the creation of a network. Everything we do aims at strengthening this group of companies’ position in the market place.
The core business objective of tradeshow architects and designers who want to become FDA members must be the rendering of architectural and design services for tradeshows, exhibits and events along with product and service presentations. They must have a presence in the market that has established itself successfully over multiple years. They must have completed projects of a certain size, quality and complexity. Tradeshow architects and designers combine the marketing goals of their principals with a sense of spatial effects and thus create experiences that set the stage for company and product presentations.
Being a member of the FDA stands for quality, i.e. any FDA members possesses comprehensive expertise and know-how, qualifications and thorough experience. This quality seal of approval gives clients the confidence they need when selecting a respective service provider.
The fact that the FDA group is part of the FAMAB e.V. gives FDA members access to a communications platform with each other, as well as with FAMAB and FME members. In the medium term, this will lead to a consolidation of the industry, to the clear differentiation of performance spectrums offered by the individual enterprises and to the creation of networks between three-dimensional communications experts. This development will yield a further optimization of the services offered by individual providers. For clients this means that they will be able to make selections of the individual building blocks they plan to use for their live marketing activities with greater confidence.
